Renowned model, actress, and singer Anzela Abbasi recently opened up about her decision to not work in Pakistani dramas.
Participating in a talk show, Anzela, daughter of famous actors Javeria Abbasi and Shamoon Abbasi, shared her thoughts on her showbiz career.
She stated that Pakistani dramas often portray women in a demeaning and weak manner, which she disagrees with. Most dramas revolve around household conflicts, a narrative she does not resonate with, as she sees herself as a different kind of girl. Hence, she is not inclined to work in dramas.
Anzela Abbasi expressed that Pakistani dramas do not align with her artistic capabilities and talents. These dramas do not fully utilize her acting skills. She mentioned that her education abroad has shaped her communication style and lifestyle differently, which sets her apart.
